Bem-vindo/a (Welcome) to sunny Portugal!

Today, we'll arrive in Lisbon. Upon landing, the LevarTravel leader will warmly welcome you at the airport. Once the group is assembled, we'll take some time to get to know each other, review the trip itinerary, and address any questions you may have.

We’ll then start our coastal adventure with a scenic drive in a private vehicle from Lisbon to Setúbal, a charming port town with a strong maritime tradition. After a short stroll along the waterfront or a taste of local pastries, we’ll head into Arrábida Natural Park, home to one of Portugal's most stunning bays: Portinho da Arrábida, sheltered by steep green cliffs and blessed with calm, translucent waters.

In the afternoon, we’ll take a relaxing boat tour along the coastline, where we’ll cruise past hidden coves and caves, and possibly spot dolphins in the wild. As the sun begins to set, we’ll continue south along the coast to a peaceful seaside town, Vila Nova de Milfontes, for your first overnight stay.

Today, we’ll enter the heart of the Costa Vicentina, a protected stretch of Portugal’s rugged western coastline. Our destination is Zambujeira do Mar, a laid-back seaside village perched on dramatic cliffs overlooking the Atlantic.

We’ll spend the day soaking up the sun on the beach, swimming in clear waters, wandering along the cliff paths for panoramic views, and interacting with the locals.

Zambujeira is known for its peaceful atmosphere and authentic charm, perfect for slowing down and settling into the rhythm of the coast. In the evening, enjoy fresh seafood and a glass of wine as the sun dips into the ocean.

Early in the morning, we’ll head to Odeceixe Beach, one of Portugal’s most iconic and photogenic coastal gems. Nestled at the mouth of the Rio Seixe, this beach offers a stunning contrast between the calm, swimmable waters of the river and the untamed waves of the Atlantic. Wander along its long stretch of sand and explore the natural pools.

We’ll continue south to Amoreira Beach, another extraordinary meeting point of the river and sea. It's the perfect spot for a refreshing swim or a peaceful walk. We'll also take some trails around the beach, with panoramic viewpoints that offer breathtaking vistas of the coastline.

In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the striking Arrifana Beach, known for its crescent-shaped bay backed by dramatic cliffs. Popular among surfers for its consistent waves, it’s equally ideal for those who prefer to unwind on golden sands while taking in the rugged landscape. We’ll also take a short walk up to the ruins of Arrifana Fortress, which overlook the coastline in spectacular fashion.

As the day winds down, we’ll head inland to the peaceful village of Aljezur, where we’ll explore its historic hilltop castle and enjoy a restful evening surrounded by the charm and serenity of Portugal’s southwest coast.

We’ll start our day at Bordeira Beach, one of the wildest and most expansive stretches of coastline in the region. A wooden boardwalk leads you through sand dunes to a vast, untouched beach: the perfect setting for a peaceful walk, a quiet moment of reflection, or stunning photos of raw natural beauty.

After lunch, we’ll head to nearby Amado Beach, a favourite among surfers for its consistent waves and lively atmosphere. Colourful surf schools, laid-back beach cafés, and golden sand make it an ideal spot to unwind, soak up the sun, or even join a surf lesson if you're feeling adventurous.

As the day winds down, we’ll settle into the charming village of Vila do Bispo. We’ll wander its picturesque streets, take in the local culture, and enjoy the relaxed pace of life in this authentic corner of the Algarve.

Today, the adventure continues with a journey to Sagres, a village where history and nature converge at the edge of the continent. We’ll start at the imposing Fortaleza de Sagres, a 15th-century sea fortress perched high on the cliffs, offering sweeping views of the Atlantic. Then we’ll head to Cabo de São Vicente, the southwesternmost point of continental Europe, where dramatic cliffs drop steeply into the sea, and the wind carries a sense of legend and exploration.

In the afternoon, we’ll descend to the secluded Beliche Beach, a hidden gem nestled between towering cliffs. With its crystal-clear waters and peaceful atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for a swim, sunbathing, and exploring nearby caves and grottos carved into the rugged coastline.

As evening falls, we’ll return to the village of Sagres for a relaxing seaside dinner. Enjoy freshly grilled fish and other regional specialities while watching the sun set over the Atlantic. You'll spend the night again in the tranquil village of Vila do Bispo.

This morning, we’ll journey east to the vibrant coastal town of Lagos. We’ll wander through the atmospheric old town, with its cobbled streets, traditional architecture, and inviting local shops. We’ll also visit key landmarks like the Church of Santo António, known for its ornate interior, and the Mercado dos Escravos, a sobering reminder of the region’s complex past as Europe’s first slave market.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Ponta da Piedade, one of the Algarve’s most breathtaking natural sites. Here, golden cliffs carved by time rise dramatically above turquoise waters. We’ll embark on a boat tour through the labyrinth of sea caves, arches, and hidden grottos for an unforgettable view of the coastline from the water.

The night will be spent here in Lagos. Whether you're savouring fresh seafood at a seaside restaurant or enjoying the city's lively nightlife scene, the energy of this coastal gem is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Today is all about experiencing the Algarve’s most iconic coastal wonders. We’ll begin your journey at Praia da Marinha, often ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world. With its crystal-clear waters, dramatic golden cliffs, and hidden coves, it’s a place that perfectly captures the raw beauty of southern Portugal.

Next, we’ll make our way to Benagil Beach for a visit to the world-famous Benagil Cave, sculpted into the cliffs by centuries of wind and waves. By boat, we’ll explore this awe-inspiring grotto from the water, offering a truly unforgettable perspective.

As the day ends, we’ll travel to Albufeira for our final night. This lively coastal town offers the best of both worlds: golden beaches for relaxing, and a vibrant old town filled with narrow streets, seaside restaurants, and a buzzing nightlife. It’s the perfect place to celebrate the (almost) end of our Algarve trip.

On our final morning, we’ll make our way to Faro, the capital of the Algarve, where cobbled streets, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old architecture invite quiet exploration. We’ll wander through the charming walled Old Town, enjoy a leisurely lunch by the marina, before head to the airport.

As our adventure comes to an end, we must say our goodbyes. Let us cherish every moment shared, each experience embraced, and every smile exchanged along the way.
